What is BikeSkatt?
BikeSkatt is a two-tier bike security system that combines a visible deterrent card (clipped to your handlebars) with a hidden tracker (concealed in your frame). Together they deter thieves before they act — and help you recover your bike if theft happens anyway.
How is BikeSkatt different from a regular bike lock?
A lock can be cut. BikeSkatt adds two layers a lock can't: visible deterrence that discourages thieves from even trying, and GPS tracking so you can recover your bike if it is taken.
Installation
How hard is it to install?

What's included in the box?
Your BikeSkatt kit includes the deterrent card, the tracker (with Velcro), two-part epoxy is not included, and setup instructions.
Will the epoxy damage my bike frame?
The two-part epoxy is designed for a permanent, solid bond. You can use just the Velcro if secure. We recommend choosing a concealed location inside your frame to protect both the tracker and your finish.
Compatibility
What phones does BikeSkatt work with?
BikeSkatt is compatible with both iOS (via Apple Find My) and Android (via Google Find Hub). Any modern iPhone or Android device will work.
Does it work with any type of bike?
Yes — BikeSkatt works with road bikes, mountain bikes, commuter bikes, and e-bikes. Any bike with a frame cavity or surface suitable for epoxy mounting is compatible.
Tracking & Recovery
How does the tracking work?
Once paired with your phone, the tracker uses Apple Find My or Google Find Hub networks to report its location. You'll be able to see your bike's location in real time through the app.
How do I get the best tracking signal?
For optimal tracking, utilize RF-transparent materials when concealing your tracker. If you hide the tracker inside a frame cavity, make sure it sits behind a plastic cover, rubber cap, or fiberglass panel rather than metal. Signals pass through these materials easily, ensuring reliable tracking performance.
What do I do if my bike is stolen?
Open your BikeSkatt app to see your bike's last known location. Share the location data with local law enforcement to assist with recovery. Do not attempt to confront a thief alone.
Does BikeSkatt require a subscription?
No subscription is required. BikeSkatt works with Apple Find My and Google Find Hub, which are free services built into your phone's operating system.
